She has answered this as best as she possibly can. Regardless of her personal opinion, her professionalism is paramount and she must only speak for herself and not the BBC as a whole. In her position, she has to do the best job she can and as ethically as possible, and that's all she probably wants to speak for. It's not necessarily avoiding biting the hand that feeds you as much as it is being professional. Great answer, and thanks for not avoiding a potentially tough question.

Just to piggyback, I was able to utilize a $500 AA voucher ( which I received from giving up a seat on a domestic flight for a one hour later flight ) for a trip to Spain which I found through your service. I got the $430 roundtrip flight with the voucher, so it was essentially at no cost to me.

I walked up to the counter at my smaller airport in town and requested the specific flight number on the specific date seven months in advance. The clerk seemed a bit curious as to why I had such a specific flight picked out until she saw the price. Her face of bewilderment gave way to surprise immediately and she leaned across the counter looking both ways before asking “Oh my God, tell me your secret!!” Hopefully you got another happy customer that day.

Thank you for your honest service, Scott.

My favorite one was the story of him decking that lady on the bus. Supposedly he was trying to get on the bus, and he wasn't supposed to. He was very drunk. I just get a mental image of him yelling, "We gotta go back!!" while swinging.

Edit: My gold virginity gets taken for making a LOST reference in a thread about Daniel Dae Kim, I'm humbly honored! Thanks stranger!

For those less-inclined to the ins and outs of the film industry, a first AD has one of, if not the toughest jobs on set, especially one like this. The entire production department (second AD's production assistants, and assistants to specific people) fall under their responsibility. They hold the master time clock on set, and while the movie is largely the Director's (entrusted by the producers, who are entrusted by the executives) creative responsibility, the set, and the production as a whole are the AD's responsibility. Making sure ALL of the pieces of the production puzzle are in place so they Director can use those pieces to create the work is the AD's job. It's excruciatingly difficult and important.
