Greenpeace was talking about the annual Canadian seal hunt on the east coast of Canada, during which people (not Inuit) club seals to death out on the ice. This is a practice that is wholly unnecessary.

Greenpeace doesn't care about Inuit killing animals because they don't do it on such a huge scale, and they actually need the animal parts.
