I always like to approach the question of the bomb backwards.

How would you feel if the bomb was never dropped, and the war had to be finished conventionally? What would your reaction be if you found out after the fact, that your government had the means to end the war without the long costly invasion... but that it would have cost the lives of tens of thousands of civilians to do so?

On the topic of game AI, do you have any thoughts on game feature complexity when it comes to AI limitations?

I think one of the things that really hurt Civ V when compared to IV, is that V added a lot of user options that while cool, the AI simply could not make use of. Civ IV didn't have that glaring issue, so the AI just seemed so much "smarter" by comparison.

Do you find yourself at a cross road where a feature would be cool to have but impossible for the ai to understand or use effectively? And when at that crossroad is it more reasonable to err on tossing the feature or as motivation to double down and find a way for the ai to incorporate it into it's strategy?
