It's not true at all. Biting through the average carrot takes 200N of force. Humans can bite with between about 900N-1200N of force. A human pinky takes about 1800N of force to completely sever entirely. So, good fucking luck.

Um, sort of? This is a really misleading way to explain that the water "absorbs" the longer wavelength light, making it bluer.
