Do you want to abolish the FED?

That's a good argument, but if the people in a state believe a right should be put up for vote and do not support it, it's their state and their government and so we should not impose our views on them. I support gay marriage but I just think the federal government should not have the power to impose a law on all the states to make it legal.

In the hypothetical situation Texans lose their rights to put a ban on gay marriage.

Do you have no tolerance for people who don't support gay marriage. Its a state right. If the people of Texas don't support it why should you impose it upon them? By giving them this right others lose their rights.
