At universities and colleges the master scientific glassblower makes a lot of money. It is difficult to make vessels with given (very specific) specifications and without them on staff it would be ridiculously expensive to contract out all the labware needed for some research projects.

Look into scientific glassblowing if you want to make money. You can always do art stuff on the side.
