stuff about "fucking hotter chicks" "butterfaces" "tight native pussy" and the usual substance abuse "jokes" etc
If you ever feel really curious just go to /r/canada and look in threads about natives to see the incredibly racist shit white Canadians will say online but never when we are around face to face to make them regret it.
Its the reason why I hate how much reddit latches on to the whole "canadians are great" trope, if you want to see how polite Canadians can be, you just have to grow up native to see how it is untrue and people think we are scum.
It really helps explain the apathy around an epidemic of murders for native men and women, starlight walks etc
EDIT: To those saying I am saying all Canadians are racist, I'm not. Re read it and I just say Canadians, as in there are some people in Canada who are incredibly racist to natives. Obviously I can't mean all Canadians hate natives since... I am a Canadian, so already that myth is busted. So stop telling me to be ashamed of myself and "spreading toxic lies" and just go read this and leave me alone.

1500 a month!!!
As a childcare worker in Quebec that is an outrageous sum to think of!

You can't generalise when comparing reservations, either in the same province or especially across provinces.
Especially if you talk about reservations in general, when they will vary wildly on account of what band's reserve it is.
For instance reservations around shefferville in the nrothern Quebec area are incomparable to a reservation like Kahnawake which is right off of Montreal.
Same for reservations in Ontario, Akwesasne would be incomparable to more remote ones in Ontario for instance.
Its very tough to answer unless you have a specific or a few specific reservations in mind to compare.
I will say in my experience this stuff has happened to women of Kahnawake, though it seems to be quite different than the hotspots in western Canada.
There are benefits to being bigger and closer to a city like Montreal compared to very remote reserves, and negatives as women have gone missing often in the city of Montreal as they get involved with the ills that come with a large metropolitan area.
Stuff like this is very fluid from location to location.

I found after working in childcare for a few years, I would frequently end up asking my adult friends if they had to go to the bathroom before we left anywhere...
It really intensified working in a daycare.
