Have you participated in a rubber hand illusion scenario? Do you feel the pain "experienced" by the fake hand?

I invigilated an exam where a student brought in mass cards from her father's funeral (it's a Catholic thing). I was obliged to check them and she nearly clawed the skin off my hand trying to stop me picking them up.

She'd filled them with notes. I wasn't sure if I hoped they were faked mass cards and her dad wasn't actually dead or not.
