Hi Adam,

Is it dangerous for the Greens to be calling for an inquiry into fluoridation? Does an inquiry not validate those who reject the science by implying there is legitimate debate?

Surly what is needed is education, not an inquiry, if as John Kaye says, the science is settled.

From what I understand a north coast council is anti-fluoride, with the Greens councilors being a big part of the push. John Kaye and most of the state Greens are pro fluoride but don't want to embarrass the council so are calling for an enquiry (which only ever has one possible outcome) instead of dismissing them like they would climate deniers.
