Well they didn't answer but I've taken a coaching course and I'm going through my ICF certification right now.

Coaching is largely unregulated, literally anyone can call themselves a coach and that's it. The ICF seemed to tackle this by having some standards for a code of conduct, ethics and training. So by searching out someone with an ICF credential you can be assured that they have completed some level of training and should be following a code of conduct and ethics. Also if you want to keep your ICF designation I believe you need to attend some professional development courses every 3 years.

For a ACC which is the lowest certification level. You need to take at least 60 hours of courses, and have completed over 100 hours of coaching to qualify for your application, then you send in a recording and they will audit it, and you have to pass a knowledge based exam.

They also have a PCC which is 125 training hours and 500+ hours of coaching experience

and MCC which is 200 training hours and 2500+ hours of coaching.

Having gone through a course, much like any profession, some people in it are stellar and some not so much. Luckily most coaches will offer a free discovery session which will help you determine if they would be a good match for you.

do you expect some form of homeostasis to take effect naturally? As the planet gets hotter more plant life will flourish? possibly including the artic regions being able to sustain more plants, would the planet start to self correct. Obviously human habits will need to get changed as well to make a large impact. Just curious what your thoughts are on the planet self correcting.
