Does boycotting products that contain palm oil actually reduce deforestation? Won't people still clear the land to grow other things even if the palm oil market shrinks?

There's absolutely no chance unless Liberal Democrats somehow make a comeback. Both Conservatives and Labour are both incredibly anti-drugs. This is very wishful thinking.

But this says "we should be able to rely on", not "we will rely on". To me this reads more like a threat to market operators that if they misbehave then OFCOM will get involved.
