This was asked 8 hours ago, I realize but the real answer is that here in the states you get the most advertising dollars on Thursday. Thursday is considered prime TV real estate. Basically advertisers are hoping that you are going to be out on the town Friday and Saturday and the advertisements you're shown on Thursday will influence what you do those days.
