I'm on TN and I wouldn't count on the Canadian government saving the TN program during tense negotiations to save NAFTA. The 50k people on TN visas is the last thing on the Canadian governments mind. That said trump may sign a treaty identical to NAFTA but only for Canada effectively kicking out Mexico.

TN visas were created to facilitate trade between the countries. If trump doesn't care about facilitating trade, then your visa isn't really a concern of his.

Remember, each Canadian on a TN visa is "taking their jobssss".

But time will tell. Let's see what he says in his speech on Friday. He might move to kill NAFTA right there and then. It does not require Congress.
