What kind of nugget of information can you spare to film directors about Quentin Tarantino and how he works on set?

Wow, thanks! I hear he tends to rehearse like crazy, how much freedom do you actually get as an actor to "do your thing"? or does he have a very specific idea on how you should be delivering his lines (facial expressions, etc.)
