The reddit system occasionally fakes "downvotes" for some technical reason, I believe it relates to trying to defeat bots that try and autovote on things.

And some people downvote if they disagree with you, or don't like you, or had a bad day, or can't work their mouse correctly, or let their cat operate their computer. Don't sweat it.

What we're they expelled for?

Fathers often shut down like that because they see their job as making sure everyone gets what they need, and feel that in order to do that they absolutely cannot lose their shit. They get a tight lock on emotions so they can keep going to work, driving people places, coordinating things, paying bills even when things look really grim.

It's a difficult problem because that kind of emotional response isn't really very healthy. If you think it'll help, let him know some random on the internet thinks he's a hero!

I don't think it really matters does it? I haven't seen him advocate for allowing some organisations to spend money on the political process versus others. It seems obvious that he speaks out against the Koch brothers because he disagrees with their agenda but that's not the same as approving of campaign financing by unions.

His statement is simple:

And we need real campaign finance reform which means public funding of elections.

No Koch, no unions, nobody, just public financing.

Seems like he'd be better prepared than many - the self control and handling relative freedom uni students have to deal with is something he'll already have in spades.
