I deleted a bunch of Chrome extensions just the other day because one of them was trying to redirect to a malware infested page when opening a new tab. I'm pretty sure the offending extension was SpeedDial 2 https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/speed-dial-2/jpfpebmajhhopeonhlcgidhclcccjcik?hl=en

Edit: Speed Dial 2 was not the cause of my problem. An image I linked to in Speed Dial 2 was the issue. The site that was hosting the image apparently had malware issues and when Speed Dial 2 tried to connect to it, I got warnings.

Ruin the spirit of Christmas. There's nothing like going out in the wilderness of a parking lot, searching for that special tree, struggling to get it back home, all while enjoying the great paved-over outdoors and the quiet solitude that accompanies it all.

Is this the stuff I see on the sides of the shoulder, all chipped off the white line by snowplows during the winter? It almost looks like pottery shards laying on the side of the highway in some places as I'm riding my bike.
