Do you guys know the youtube channel Errant Signal? I think his videos are fantastic discussions on individual game design and often times themes in the gaming industry as a whole.

In one of his recent videos he makes the point that the triple-A games industry is starting to become confident enough to have strong artistic tendencies in its games but not enough to trust them to meld with the mechanics alone without some action thrown in first a-la Bioshock Infinite. What do you think about that statement and when do you think the triple-A industry might overcome this obstacle? What needs to happen next?
