Will you be able to eat cats in your upcoming dwarf game?

I still want to know if you can eat cats.

This game (http://www.paradoxplaza.com/games/a-game-of-dwarves) is very similar to Dwarf Fortress. In DF the cats breed really fast so to prevent your fortress from becoming too crowded with them you have to butcher and eat them before a lonely dwarf adopts one.
