That's the kicker for me. So many parents just seem to think that school is more about day care than education, or about developing their children into functioning members of society.

Where did the name Media Lab come from?

I worked on a project for Big Telecom Company and we originally dubbed it MediaLab - the lawyers said no, and now I can ask where you got the name from because we thought it was kinda neat.
