Would you recommend dying in a retirement home?

I read the "Paradox of Choice" very carefully when it came out. I work for a major corporation that has made many strategic mistakes, including confusing and annoying our audience with too many SKUs. Now, a decade after your book was published, we are finally hearing talk of simplifying our product offerings. It was immediately obvious to me that offering too much choice was a bad thing. What other obvious mistakes are we making? Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to influence the strategy of my company, but I like to point out the absurdities when I can!
