How do you deal with "colleagues" who take keys out of the controlled keybox and "conveniently" forget to return them?

Asking for a friend ;-)

Based on a quick look at the site (https://www.shakeout.org/howtoparticipate/), it appears as if Turkey and a few other countries where earthquakes are prevalent are not participating.

You mentioned that it's the world's largest earthquake drill, and it sounds like there are many places where some practice could be helpful for the general population.

Any idea why these countries decided not to participate? Thanks!

What does that have to do with earthquake preparation, with all of my respect?

Have you learned anything about what happens when it's not a student involved, but a faculty member instead?

When it happens to faculty BY faculty, good luck having that incident make its way into the official Clery Act reports.

It gets settled out of court, usually with a buyout, an NDA, and the best recommendation letters imaginable for the victim. Most faculty are terrified to come forward, let alone report the incident because it can be career suicide.

It's like it never happened.

Have you learned about other incidents that involve faculty-on-faculty sexual assault and how those incidents were handled at Florida Tech or other universities?

If so, what have you discovered?
