I grew up with them in the 80s maybe it was because I was young I thought it would always be like that and still have ticket stubs from then.
Think I remember Frank Zappa talking about it and maybe Joe Walsh .
Guess it was just an era and computers and internet along with the war really dissolved the magic.
I know there’s festivals and such but not the same.
