I just found another subreddit about the exact company. Everything you're saying checks out. I got scammed. Welp there goes $900.

My understanding was that after 10 years of paying the lower price the remainder of the loans would be forgiven. That is substantially more than $900.

Yeah I think they just consolidated them and got my payment on an income driven one so it's cheaper.
