Is this not a topic that comes up at your country club meetings?

Germany has a well established returnable glass system - but they also have a decently running (98%+ return rate) plastic beverage container system.

Comparing those two you can pick and choose your metrics to make either one look better than the other. And in my opinion there is no clear winner.

Especially the wiper fluids, don't want those getting stuck.

Any suggestions on fan noise? We've got a radon mitigation system - the pipe comes up from the basement through a closet and there is a fan in the attic. Especially at night you can hear the constant hum of the fan (not sure if it is vibration off the pipe or the fan itself) which can be a bit annoying.

Any childhood experiences of Hartford? Ehat neighborhood did you live? Have you ever been back?

I feel that is a city that changed so much, not for the better, during your lifetime.
