I am an avid NPR listener because I believe it to be the least sensationalist and most balanced although i know it tends to bend left. What other news sources to you believe meet similar standard with a right lien?

I think one of the other responses was close to the truth when they said non-sensationalism, balance and, I will add - a wide subject matter is perceived as left leaning in the current political climate. On their news programs, NPR also tends to focus on humanitarian issues, which are perceived to be left, but should not be. With everyone taking sides on the extremes, I think NPR does the best job of taking both viewpoints. I think they are just as hard on liberal interview subjects as they are on conservatives in their news programs.
