Have you thought about becoming an advocate for better handling of bullying in your state / country ?

I really do believe there are simple things that could be done that would make it easier for bullied kids to report problems, and for administration to spot when a situation really is a bullying problem, and not a simple issue between kids.

Maybe telling your story around might help.

*also, on a personal note, I taught my kids to react immediately to any first offense, whatever the size or number of the opponents, as bullies will always focus on those who don't react. I worked for both of them, but we live in a place where kids don't bear guns, so there's little risk of dying in a fight. The US is a different case ...
