Sustainability seems to have become a somewhat ambiguous term that can take on multiple meanings depending on who you ask. I am curious to know how you define sustainability.

Do you reference Robert Gibson's criteria for sustainability in the class?

I find that his requirement for sustainable solutions to integrate multiple perspectives and strategic initiatives much more compelling than the normal "balancing act" approach of economic/social/environmental goals that usually tips itself toward the economic side of things in "sustainable" developments.
