In 2016 Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and she lost (the electoral college) to a guy who was a known misogynist, liar, cheat and failure - showing that the public desperately wants to "blow up" the current horrible political system and try something very different. Are you concerned that your middle-of-the-road policies on healthcare (no Medicare-4-all), lack of criticism of our "forever wars," lack of support for free public college and such are out of step with what the public is looking for and will only lead to a Clinton like defeat? Bear in mind that public polling shows that these various measures are overwhelmingly popular. Thanks.

You don't read too gud. I didn't say he didn't want to be a Senator because he preferred the lower stress job of the presidency. I said the logistics of Senator vs. President are night and day - Presidents live in something called the "White House" - all year round, with their wife and children. Look it up. Senators are constantly flying back and forth and so with younger children they need to be in one place because they go to these things called "schools" - so being a Senator means... wait for it... you end up sacrificing a lot of time with your family. For 6 years. I happen to know the guy and I'm virtually certain that's his main reason for not running for Senate.

The guy's got a young family and being a Senator means for 6 years he has to spend a lot of time in Washington and go back and forth to Montana - meaning a lot of time away from his family. Does he have to make that sacrifice because everyone wants him to?
