My anecdotal experience is that I was initially prescribed Lexapro for my depression last year and was having numerous “performance” issues and that psychiatrist then added Welbutrin (Bupropion) to help counteract those side effects, but for myself it didn’t help in the slightest. Funnily enough, I was no longer generally depressed but the performance issues were what was making me depressed instead. I ended up changing psychiatrists at the end of last year and my new one recommended I just use Welbutrin and since ending Lexapro, I’ve had zero issues in that department and my depression is being managed well.

Are there any cases that you would say were major turning points for forensic sciences? Like cases that were the first to utilize techniques and tools that are commonly used today.

You HAVE to do it under a doctors guidance. My doctor had me lower my frequency each week until I was at a point I could just stop taking it. I will say though that I was very prone to serious mood swings for about two months and sometimes I would get easily agitated and freak out over small things. YMMV but just do it with a doctor’s guidance only.

I just looked up the Rojas case and that seems very fascinating! Thank you for the response :)

I’m so sorry you had to go through this. It was one of my absolute fears going to high school and college even 10-15 years ago. I’m still absolutely heartbroken for your school and community. My only question is if you’ve spoken to any of your fellow students whether from the same class or other classes and how they are doing?

There’s a lot of people that are here for you guys if there’s anyone that needs an ear to listen or talk to.

Much love ❤️
