Of course everyone technically plays a part in the business making the product, but nobody tips the front desk for walk-in pickup. You pay the person who uses their car (and gas, with little compensation) to bring it to your door so you don’t have to drive yourself.

Edit: and the other people don’t have to carry your food through all sorts of weather. The worse the conditions are outside, the more frequent people request a delivery.

I’ve never worked delivery. I just tip well because the drivers put up with way more than slinging a pizza into the oven.
