Oh man, I got a colonoscopy to check for celiac and they sedated me but it didn't work (even after giving me another dose). Unsedated colonoscopies are a NO for me. When they blew up my intestines I was screaming- no one mentioned any pain or consciousness beforehand !! Afterwards they just said, "yeah, sometimes the anesthesia doesn't work on young people." OH, COOL THANKS GUYS.

I don't really understand why his proposal is different from China's (or Black Mirror's to be honest). And I don't see how a couple of generations of the wrong people running something like that don't mean something terrible for our future. Initially it could be great, but it's not a good long-term solution just because of the corruption we've seen displayed over and over by people in positions of power. It seems like an incredible infringement on our freedom.

My mom was an engineer and decided to become a teacher instead about 15 years ago. Tbh I wish she wouldn't have. I'm in my 20s now and for as long as I can remember we've been broke.

Also, almost all of my friend's moms are teachers all across NJ and they all HATE it now. Most of them still love teaching their students, but in-school politics and beauracracy have beaten them down to where literally all of them hate it.
