You're full of surprises. You've got too many great stories to fit into one documentary.

Hello, Bob.

I wanted to ask about the genesis of your working relationship with Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim. As far as I know, they sent you a package that you had to sign and pay for. From what I know, the package entailed their head shots and some of their animated comedy sketches. You liked what you saw and got them started in LA. I was hoping you could tell us more about the beginnings of your relationship.

What did the package contain, exactly? What did you see in the material initially? How did they get it to you? Is this a common practice to get your name out there? What did you say when eventually contacting them about their work? What do you think about the evolution of their comedic material today, as well as their more serious work(The Comedy)?

Thanks, Bob!

Here's some stills from the film to show you the beauty of that area Huck is talking about. [1]([Imgur](http://i.imgur.com/LsdAlX4.jpg\)) [2]([Imgur](http://i.imgur.com/ldqAb46.jpg\)) [3]([Imgur](http://i.imgur.com/JzcEgNr.jpg\)) [4]([Imgur](http://i.imgur.com/GX8Y0kr.jpg\))

I'll do my best to answer the doc inquiry briefly. (I find that talking too much about a creative endeavor leads to a feeling of accomplishment, thus resulting in weakened ambition/preparation) The film neither intends to glorify the lifestyle, nor warn against it. Rather, the film is focusing on these various tramps/vagabonds, because I think they represent something much larger in American society. These folks are an emblem of a modified American Dream, important knowledge for America's Millennials and future generations as they go up against our country's structural challenges. It's not overtly political at all, but rather we are trying to create an impressionistic portrait on the matter with these interesting characters.
