I was homeless for about a year during the last recession. Basically lived out of my car. Do you have a vehicle? Other question, did you file your taxes? If not you should check and see if you could get a return. That's how I got out of my situation (although I was still working).
No matter what keep working your way out. I love to hear how positive you are trying to be. I know how desperate and miserable it can be but if you keep trying and keep your spirits up I'm sure you'll pull through!
