When you beat a life threatening illness, hypothermia must not seem much of a threat lol.

But seriously, that's amazing. I'd probably do the same if I got to go to Antarctica. You made that trip all the way there, no point passing up a once in a life time oportunity and having regrets! Congrats on everything! You seem like an awesome person :)

OMG. Guts... Legends of the Hidden Temple and Guts were the two shows I desperately wanted to be on. I used to do reckless things on my swing set/ trees at my house or at the playground to train for them haha

I'm completely jealous of you, but excited because it almost feels like I'm meeting a celebrity from my childhood. I would ask you a question, but you have already answered all the ones I could think of.

Omg. That sounds terrifying. Why not just dig a hole? Or idk.... I feel like anything would be better than climbing a tree and perching precariously over the ocean.

Did you make a similar post about a year ago? (Or longer. I honestly don't remember when I read it). Were you the one who talked about playing in the water with crocodiles around and a kid got eaten?

Boobs? I mean, that would kind of give it away.

Although I went through puberty and am a member of the itty bitty titty committee so maybe not.

Wow... I thought my job was sexist because women weren't given the same opportunities as men to prove themselves or work their way up the ladder. Anything we did, we had to do twice as well as the men in order to recieve recognition, and any failure was because we were perceived as "weak and fragile" women (the failures of the men weren't held against them as severely. They'd get a talking to and be sent right back to the position. Women would be sent to an easier task/position if they failed at anything).

But not being able to eat until the men are finished??!?! I had no idea that still happened. That goes beyond keeping the "weaker" gender from performing a "difficult" task and goes straight to disrespect. I can actually understand them not being as willing to let petite women work with the carnivores or rhinos, which are incredibly dangerous (I worked at a zoo of sorts). But not wanting women to eat until the men are done is just completely disrespectful and blatant sexism. I'd rather men think I'm weak because I'm a smaller woman than have them think I'm less of a human because I have a vagina.
