I'm such a lazy ass that if I check the weather and see that I will have a head wind on my bike ride I'll usually just say "fuck it" and eat peanut butter while I watch TV. Terrible. This AMA is inspiring though, and I love the blog!

Yikes! I got going around 35 mph on my road bike the first day I got it and it was sort of terrifying. I can't imagine going 50.

How did you get out of that situation with the dogs? Just outride them, or did you stop and yell and shake your bike at them? Sounds scary.
