I misunderstood. I thought you were giving the community an opportunity to design original shirts and have them sell, and if they succeed you would reward them for it. Now, I am thinking the community is stealing designs/pictures (which I am really not sure how legal this is) and if the community votes on it, you sell it and they get a free shirt.

Either way, did I also misunderstand about the comision codes for marketing the website?

(I am under the impression that signing up gives you a "discount code" and you can give that code to people who will buy shirts using it, and then you will get rewarded$ for making a sale.)

I got Reddit gold on a -16 comment and I kept getting down voted on it post gold. Wasn't even mad though, the guy who gave me gold made my fucking day.

Do the users who submit the shirt designs get commision for their designs? kind of like what valve does for dota 2 item designs.

or do you(by you mean I) only make money off selling shirts from the website? (using the discount code thing)

You see what valve does is have the community submit designs and if the designs win, whenever someone purchases your design you get some money off of it. I was asking if you provide the same thing.

For example, I design a shirt that says "lol u mad bro? XD" on it and it wins and gets to be on the website, then 500 people buy my shirt design (10000 total revenue), 500$ of that 10k goes to me.

yeah its the referral link in the OP.

I do not have a negative mindset about what you're doing. At first, I thought, hey this guy is awesome but after your answers I realized you're the only one making profit off of this (you and the other companies that process the shirts, etc.) I do not care, honestly. Good for you, you made a lot of money in little time.

About me using "stealing" it can be "snagging" or "taking other people's" etc. the point being it's not their own creation
