Not OP but I know there are sections of Europe (France) that are restricted and uninhabitable due to the sheer amount of explosives ,bullets and whatnot.

Now my curiousity is peeking. I gotta look into this more now. I remember a few years ago a pretty sizable Allied bomb was control-detonated in Germany in a relatively dense area.
