Yeah, for a Spanish speaker, Portuguese is somewhat like a very strong speech impediment on top of a strong foreign accent.
Reading Portuguese is barely a challenge, unless it has a lot of slang, which to be fair, would also be an issue in Spanish.

Why is Odín not written with eth in English if we have that sound? Did it pass out of English and back at some point?
