I was there as a coast guardsman. My question to you is what happened months after the quake in your point of view?

I supported Haitian coast guard and the port authority there by keeping the port open. I recall the only pier in the port was damaged from the quake, but the navy was able to repair the port and add two barges acting as ports to move goods in and out. I remembering the last day there we gave responsibility to the Haitian coast guard and port authority. I spoke only English so I cannot recall everything.
