I just read it again...I'm not freaked out, and I understand the definition of all the words, but I just don't follow the meaning. I don't understand how it answers the question. To me, I just see q: "how can you use algorithms in every day life?", a: "by using algorithms in every day life!"

Like...I just cannot obtain any further meaning than that from what has been said, yet it gets upvotes, and the guy has a book...so it clearly is making sense to people. So thats when I question whats wrong with me, that I can't understand even a brief synopsis from an AMA? Or maybe it doesn't make any sense and everyone is just circlejerking over it. Honestly hard to tell sometimes.

So you could argue '71 as the birth of the video game industry, I think thats totally fair and a less murky way to define things personally.

lol pretty much. I regard myself as perhaps slightly above average intelligence, but reading threads like this where everyone seems to be speaking an alien language really make me question that entirely.

Or maybe I'm just too lazy to think about it for more than 30 seconds...because that's kinda true also for some reason as sad as that is lol.

Ohhh that's how it works. I never really considered why it was tax free but that seemed too generous of the govt.
