Yeah animation is a whole separate discipline to general 3d. When someone talks about a generalist, that usually includes modelling, texturing lighting and basic non character animation. Hard core VFX or character animation/rigging abilities would never be expected of a generalist.

I used to subscribe to the print edition. I then thought I would switch to the digital version because it turned out that was where I read most. However I was very unhappy to discover that in New Zealand where I live the digital version is something like 3 times the price of the digital version in the US. At that point I was so annoyed that I unubscribed entirely. Cut off my nose to spite my face I guess. Why do you have such price discrimination for the digital version?
