Hi everyone, thanks for doing this. I'm currently a graduate student in cognitive psychology at my university (with a focus in cognitive and affective neuroimaging) and I have a two part question that I'd love to hear your perspectives on.
How big of a concern is pigeon-holing yourself into a extremely narrow focus as far as research goes? I have so many things that I'm interested in, but I'm a bit apprehensive to nail something down for a dissertation topic until I'm 100% sure.
Is mirror neuron research something I should pursue as a Cognitive Science graduate student? Is there still interest in this topic among neuroscientists generally?
