I'm 43 and had colon cancer last year, symptoms started around October 2021, had surgery in March 2022, now it's 294 days since they took out my cancer along with 50% of my colon. 8 rounds of chemo, no radio, all clear, next checkup in February. Was stage 3a.

You see, when communists came into power, suddenly everything was owned by the state. The lake, the fish, the boats, the trees, the animals in the woods, the fruits, the mushrooms, everything. Your land, that you and your family used to raise crops, was no longer yours, it was owned by the state. You are now allowed to volunteer (read forced, under penalty of gulag) to work the fields. You don't get anything that comes from that, you get your ration card, and that's it.
Unless you're a higher up in the communist party. Unless you work directly for the state, unless you're an active cog in the machine (read report on your fellow comrades, spy on their every move, write down everything they say, everything they do), unless you live and breathe communist propaganda. Then you get good food, you get good clothes, you get cars, you get gas for your cars, you only work in an office and get to boss people around. Isn't communism awesome?
Fishing, hunting, everything you harvest is for export. Everything goes to the communist party, most of it for export, some of it for the higher ups, none for you and those who worked it.
