It depends how the funding goes. My next door neighbor does a charity event each year. This year he did a wing-walk, next year he plans to do bungee jumping off a bridge. He pays for the event out of his own pocket, and gets people to sponsor him - that extra money goes to charity.
I 100% agree, those people who raise £3k to "walk the great wall of china for charity" are raising £2k for a holiday and £1k for charity.

Exercise doesn't work in that way. Sure you can build up muscles where you exercise, but you can't exercise a certain region to remove fat.

I seem to recall reading that 35 pounds added half an inch.
I believe it is because of the loss of fat in the groinal area, that would otherwise hide some of it.
It may not even be true though.

My father worked on a boat for 17 years. His shifts changed between 6 weeks on, 6 weeks off, and 4 weeks on/offshore.
He when My mother was pregnant (and close to term), he would just miss the transport to the boat because she was more important.
He quit when I was nine and moved into a more secure job behind a desk, still in the oil industry.

one would have to introduce bigger pods into the game that could store hundreds or thousands of kerbals, like in the Iain m. Banks novels, where there are 40km long spaceships that host millions of people
