I wish I had seen your AMA a few months ago. I was getting almost daily calls from "Your car's warranty department" trying to sell me an extended warranty on my car because the manufacturers warranty was about to expire. Every time they called, caller ID showed the call coming from my local area code. Every time they called I told them that I was not interested and to put me on the do not call list, then I blocked the number on my mobile phone. They finally stopped calling after I finally snapped and screamed at them and told them that I knew that they were spoofing the source numbers on their calls and that I was pretty sure that was a federal crime. I really wanted to go after those guys, but I had no idea how to do it.

Which polls are those? A couple of weeks back I saw a nationwide poll that had Hillary ahead by 3%, and then the next week she was ahead by 11%. They were expecting that lead to jump to 20% or more once the majority of Sanders supporters get on board with her (most experts seem to think that she will pick up 70% of Sanders supporters).

Of course the one problem with all of these polls is that they're nationwide polls of popular sentiment, and we do not elect presidents by popular vote. When you look at the breakdown state-by-state it looks much more comfortable than these polls show.

Cool trick. But now that I know a lawyer who can help me get paid for receiving these calls, perhaps I will not be so quick to block them next time. :-)
