The I want to draw a cat for you guy had an update earlier this season on The Shark Tank where he said he has actually already paid Mark Cuban's investment back.

I can't find the clip right now, if I have time I'll look a little more later.

You make a good point. I hope that websites like iFixit can help to better inform consumers about the repairability of devices that they purchase and in turn put pressure on companies to develop devices that are more accessible and easier to repair.

I think that the portion of the market that cares about these things (like the maker/create communities) is growing and will continue to grow rapidly.

Unless you lock her in your basement for the rest of her life, your daughter will be in risky situations. It's unavoidable.

I think it's important to train your kids in how to handle those situations.

In Minnesota, we have a ton of snow, and it can make for dangerous driving sometimes. When I was learning to drive my dad would take me out to a big parking lot when the weather was the worst and have me take turns and try to control the vehicle when it was slipping and sliding. Because of that, I'm great at driving in poor weather.

I think that even rough housing can serve that purpose- how to have some basic resistance skills to a physical attacker.
