Spoiler alert: your actions already reflect those around you. People judge your parents through your behavior. They judge the school you went to through you. They judge your friends through your behavior. Obviously more collectivist societies have it worse but it’s not like we’re living in this free, judgement free zone in the West.

It's not regulations but I'm sure the directors want a certain feel and theme to keep the movies coherently together musically and would reject anything too outlandish. The composers still answer to other staff they're not just doing their own thing.
