Any work done as an essential employee has to be compensated (eventually).

Congressional approval for back pay is only required for the furloughed employees.

Were you at all leery about working with Netflix after they cancelled Michelle Wolf's show after one season, given the similar format?

I disagree...strict term limits means you lose a ton of institutional knowledge every election and basically ensure that whoever is in congress is less versed in how things are done than the lobbyists that would inevitably basically take over the legislative process.

What needs to happen is get rid of safe districts- make legislators more answerable to their voters instead of basically being able to pick their voters.

The only point I’d change in your process for seasoning would be to use flaxseed oil. It leaves a much harder, much slicker finish than canola or shortening does, (theorized to be) due to its much lower smoke point.

Don't do this, flaxseed oil seasoning tends to flake off.

while I'm obviously not privy to the contracts, it's likely that either they contain strict no-compete clauses (if the owners aren't remaining with the business) or have vesting requirements (you have to work X years to get the full negotiated sale price) or both. The vesting requirement is especially useful b/c it's not as vulnerable to legal challenges as non-competes are.
