It's still not quite as good as a blockchain type hash key, you can only check your vote. The end tally could be bogus.

They should give you two numbers, a private key to vote with and a public key that's derived from the private key for checking your vote and anyone elses and how many votes were entered and when but without revealing any identity information. You could watch the voting live.

It would certainly explain a lot if the CIA has been hiring religious gullible people purposefully so they don't question their orders. If you didn't understand why, how could you tell if you were doing the right thing morally?
