Every hiker gets a trail name at some point. This year the best one I came across was Cheap Sunglasses.

What are the limits to something like this? Could you get a pro-Trump headline to the top of /r/politics? Could you get an anti-OSS headline to the top of /r/linux?
I'm well aware that it's not very hard to get content that Reddit likes on the front page of Reddit using fake votes to put your well liked content ahead of other people's well liked content. I'm far less convinced that you can put pretty much anything you want on the top of Reddit for a few bucks. I'm not convinced by the Brexit story because /r/unitedkingdom has a sizable pro-Brexit population, and the headline could easily be read as anti-Brexit sarcasm.

They've already shown that it is safe, at least as much as any of your examples. We've been eating GMO foods for years and nobody has evidence that they are unsafe.
Are you suggesting we implement some sort of clinical trial for new GMO foods? That's an interesting thought, I wouldn't necessarily be opposed to that since we are in uncharted territory here. It's best to be safe about these things, I just wonder if the cost of that would kill GMO unnecessarily.

The most accurate description is that they interpret the output of those tools, which still requires expertise, especially when you need to talk about uncertainty and what can happen in various scenarios.

Here are the 1-2 most recent polls that tested both Sanders and Clinton vs the GOP field.
For Sanders' statement to be true he would have to have been referring to polls from early November or earlier. There's also the fact that hypothetical general election polls are meaningless and have very little predictive power for what would happen in an actual matchup.
